Promotional videos

The challenge: After almost two decades of being a well-respected resource for scholarly literature, JSTOR introduced images and primary sources. How could it communicate that development and its value to users, and how could it invite libraries to contribute more of that content?

The solution: I conceived the treatment and wrote the script for videos promoting JSTOR to librarians and to users, working closely with designer colleagues and an animator.

The results: Two entertaining animated videos showing users how they can benefit from the new content on JSTOR, and an interview with a librarian in which she talks about the unexpected benefits her library experienced thanks to their participation.
